Winter 2012
Congradulations to Patrick Matte from St-Jean-Chrysostome Quebec for his dominating start to the Quebec Regional Circuit drag race season. Patrick raced his Dmax powered SkiDoo 600RS to first place finishes in Improved 600, 700 and 800. While he settled for second in Improved 1000 due to human error. Good luck this weekend in St-Leonard D'Ashton.
Our twin cylinder Rotax based motors continue to do things that many said could not be done.
Look for our new 600 prostock Rotax based motor this winter. We expect very big things from this new package.
From a very humble beginning, the two stroke internal combustion engine has been developed to a degree that I'm sure could have never been imagined upon it's conception. Even the engineers who have stood by the two-stroke principle for so long find it staggering that this mechanically simple device can produce as much power as it does today.
Mechanically, the two-stroke engine is very simple, which would lead most people to believe it would also be very simple to improve. Many would-be tuners realized moderate gains by simply making ports bigger or shaving heads. However, many engines would end up sacrificing too much torque or detonating themselves to pieces. Therefore, modifications must be planned carefully with a realistic expectation of both, what the motor will be used for and what it will be capable of.
Our passion at Dmax Race Innovation is two-stroke racing engines. Every engine is engineered very carefully from the computer, to the dyno, to the track, with a full understanding from the customer as to what the engine must be capable of.
A truly successful engine exceeds the customer's expectations every time. That’'s the engine we strive to build always.
